Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values that a browser can send to a server with requests. localStorage holds values on a device for scripts on the same website origin. Both can remember preferences, but localStorage values are not automatically attached to every page request.
The website’s own JavaScript does not create cookies. It uses localStorage only when you press a preference button on this page. There are no optional analytics, advertising or personalization scripts in the supplied code, regardless of which choice you make.
What is stored?
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| vorkad-cookie-preference | Remembers “accepted” or “essential” on this browser and website origin | Until you clear it, clear site data or the browser removes it |
The preference is not a personal identifier and is not uploaded by this script. The contact composer does not save message entries to localStorage. Its plain-text download is a file you choose to create.
Your browser preference
Accepting records your choice only; it does not activate tracking. “Essential only” is sufficient for every feature on this site.
Enable JavaScript to view or change a saved preference.
Browser and hosting controls
You can block or remove cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking localStorage prevents preference persistence but does not stop you reading the website. Private browsing sessions may discard stored values when the session ends.
Hosting security or delivery infrastructure may use mechanisms outside the static page code. You can inspect cookies in your browser’s site-information controls. This page describes the storage implemented by these files, not the practices of external websites you choose to visit.
