What this website is
VorkadNordicGadget is an independent information website for curious home gardeners. Our focus is the decision behind the device: when a measurement is useful, how it can mislead and what you should check before acting on it.
The guides are explanatory editorial material. They are not product certifications, installation specifications or claims of hands-on comparative testing. We do not describe a product as tested unless a specific article explains the method and conditions. Photography illustrates garden contexts; it is not evidence of device performance.
How we handle sources
We link to horticultural organizations, weather services, technical references and relevant standards bodies where they offer useful context. Examples include the Royal Horticultural Society, EPA WaterSense, the Met Office, FAO, DarkSky International and the Bat Conservation Trust. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation, approval or endorsement.
Site-specific conditions and local rules still matter. General guidance cannot determine your soil’s drainage, your electrical installation requirements or your water supplier’s backflow rules.
Independence and commercial context
